Our in house lasers include the following:

AFT/IPL – this is our new generation IPL, or intense pulsed light treatment, that targets benign vascular and pigmented lesions on the face and body. The most common areas treated with this modality is the face, neck, chest, shoulders, arms, and hands. There is no downtime associated with this treatment but you must be protected from the sun before and after treatment. It can be purchased as a single treatment, or for even better effects, in a series of 3 about a month apart.

Erbium Pixel – this is a resurfacing laser that creates thousands of microscopic perforations in the skin, while leaving intact skin in between. This allows your skin’s top layer to heal from the edge of these tiny holes very rapidly. The preferred treatment is a series of 3, about 1 month apart, then yearly and can be combined with the AFT treatment in the same session. The recovery time is short, about 3-5 days, where you can expect to be red and have minor peeling.

Fractionated CO2 Laser – this is the gold standard resurfacing laser. It delivers microbeams of light but penetrates deeper than the Erbium pixel treatment, for even better results in treating coarse wrinkles, scars, hyperpigmentation and precancers. Preferred treatment is as a series of 3, no closer than 6 weeks apart then can be done yearly. The recovery time is about 7 days, in which period you will have swelling, redness, minor discomfort and some peeling.
